Dolphin are present year round in Stuart's waters, but Spring and Fall brings large numbers during their migration past Stuart Florida. They travel to the south in the Fall leaving the cold waters of the approaching Winter, and back north during Spring as the waters to the north warms up again offering multiple hook-ups with sometimes all six rods going at once. We troll rigged dead baits and lures or live bait for the Dolphin depending conditions. Just like Sailfishing, everyday can be different. A Bull Dolphin however, pound for pound, most times will out fight a Sailfish and just like a Sailfish put on a nice airborne show as you reel them in.
